A local grocery store had a sale on chicken thighs so we picked up a mess of them.
I took a pack and deboned and defatted them. Gave them a dusting of Plowboys Yardbird rub and into the Egg they went.
Cooked them at 250 for about 40 minutes to about 180 - looking forward to having them dinner later in the week..

Those look really good, Elly. Looks like we had similiar thoughts today.

Everything looks great Elly. If I may sound dumb whats the egg for? A coating or what? I'll check back to see.

The Egg is for cooking on!!!! BGE is the way I roll these days unless I need lots of space then we fire up the stickburner.

Nice color on those, what is that rub you used? Is it a post on here?

I've never thought of de-boning and cooking thighs before, I may have to give that a whirl. They are my favorite part of the chicken. Ok, maybe hot wings, but thighs are vying for 1st.
