Boneless pork CSR's

  1. Sent the grocery wench out for some CSR's today, as they were buy one get one priced. She came back with boneless. Man was I mad. Tried to get her to take them back and whoah!! There's a new look....ever see "The Exorcist"? So, it was unanimous...go with the boneless. Havin' a heck of a time with it though; 85 degrees w/no breeze. Can't seem to keep pellet smoke going. New Maverick probes trying to sync with MES box heater.
    A lot of back and forth as MES remote not consistently turning element on and to top it all off, they keep sayin' on the radio that today is JUNETEENTH. WHAT THE HELL IS THAT? QVIEW TO FOLLOW!! :)

    Uh Oh!  Sounds like your day didn't start off really well.  Sorry! June 19, an African-American holiday commemorating the date in 1865 when many slaves in Texas learned they had been freed by the Emancipation Proclamation (January 1, 1863).

    Hope that helped clear up some ????  about the Term.

  5. Finally finished the bonehead (typo-boneless) CSRs. Ended up like a pork chop....not enough fat for me. They were good though...finally worked out smoke and temp back and forth.
    The difference in bark color is 2 different rubs.
    LET'S EAT! :)
