Nothing complicated about this smoke...as a matter of fact it is quick and easy on the prep and in the smoker. My wife wanted burgers - but something different than our old stand-by beer can burgers for supper tonight - so Black and Blue burgers it is.
I season the burger using salt, pepper, and garlic powder and also blue cheese crumbles. Mix it all up and press into patties.
Then I wrap them in bacon (of course) and pepper them black(ish)...
Cover them with way too much blue cheese
and pop them in the smoker at 275F until done...usually about 45 minutes to an hour depending on how thick the burger is. Here is the finished product:
