Hello everyone!

So one of my neighbors mows my lawn for really cheap and is all around good guy asked me for to make him a birthday dinner. He offered to pay me but i wouldn't take any of his money so he offered to mow and trim my lawn for free, i told him sure.  I asked him what he want and after some discussion he settled on prime rib. I determined it was jsut dinner for two so i thought i could get a one bone PR and that should do it. My wife found some big cowboy rib-eye at the store that is what we went with for the meat. Unfortunately i didn't get pics of the final meal we put together for him but I'm sure y'all know hat veggies and taters look like!

PIcs of the cowboy rib-eye.i did a reverse sear on the meat but i got in a hurry and forgot the sear picture.

Just from the store

after over night in Worcestershire sauce and black pepper

Onto the smoker for about an hour and 15 minutes...i smoked until 122 IT

Let is rest and then i cut laterally and cut out the bone for a quick reverse sear before taking it to him

Thanks for looking!

Happy Smoking,

Looks like a great meal, Let me know if you move to Northern VT. I'll cut your grass for a feedbag like that.

Chris.
