I haven't used my two big chief smokers for over a year and feel it's time to find a new home for one of them. FREE to a good home of a SMF member. Local pickup only. No shipping.
Please note that I have done various mods on both my Big Chiefs but removed some mods on this one so it is now more back to basic, user friendly. The only mod I am keeping intact is the 1200 watt element with controller which is far better than stock. This smoker has been used mainly for Salmon.
Previous mods done is some holes in the floor on the right hand side (now covered with the sheet of aluminum. I also drilled some holes on the right hand wall towards the bottom which is now covered with aluminum tape.
I also added a couple small holes on each side with rubber grommets so that one can install a thermometer probe. These are not covered up.
This smoker will come with stock grates.
$40 deposit via paypal will be required to hold it, which will be fully returned once smoker is picked up. The only gotcha is that you must be an established SMF member. PM me with any question you may have.
