In the market for a new smoker but other than an occasional pulled pork or brisket I primarily make sticks, summer sausage and jerky. What are you all using and are you happy with the results or ?????  [IMG]

A Masterbuilt Gen1 or Bluetooth, with AMNPS or Tube, have plenty or room and good air flow for your jerky...JJ

Definitely a Masterbuilt 30 or 40 depending on how much room you need.

What are you using for smoke generation? What I've found is the AMNPS is hit or mis for me, I think it may be an airflow issue?? Sometimes it works and burns great other times its a real PITA to keep it smoking. I've been using the Masterbuilt cold smoking attachment as a smoke generator but it seems like its generating way too much smoke.

I've been using Mac's ProQ cold smoker for a few years now and I love it. I started using it I'm my Big Green Eggs and now I use it in my Masterbuilt 40 2nd gen. I never had an issue of it going out and it's very easy to light. If you're interested here is a link to there website.
I purchased mine about 6-7 years ago from Amazon, I just checked and it's currently unavailable.
A-Maze-N does have a sawdust smoker but I have no knowledge of there product.
    Hope this helps.:grilling_smilie:

Maybe its just that I'm not getting the AMNPS going properly before setting it into the MES.......??
