I need to give a special shoutout to 2 members of this forum.

Thank you to Mdboatbum for your posting of, "No more 225*. I'm a convert" thread.  Here, it was recommended to smoke ribs at 275*.

Thank you to SmokinHusker for your advice in my "Johnny Trigg and Myron Mixon recipes" thread. Her recommendations are spot on.

I used the recipe that that she told me Johnny Trigg uses. I smoked at 275 * using a 2-1-1 method of St. Louis style ribs.  These were the best ribs I've ever had in my dang life.

I think the killer point was the ingredients that I used during the foiling period.  (Parkay, brown sugar, honey, tiger sauce and apple juice).

My god, I've never had ribs this good before. I really love this site. It's taken years before I've finally said that my ribs are now perfect.

Thank you Mdboatbum and SmokinHusker!

Looks like some pretty nice Ribs...JJ

Those look awesome, glad it worked out for you!! I've been wanting to try Trigg's recipe as well, but I kinda OD'd on ribs and haven't really wanted any for a couple weeks. I really do enjoy the higher heat method, not only for the shorter cook times, but I feel the texture is so much better. Maybe I'll head to the store and see if ribs are on sale......

Congrats on achieving your perfect ribs. I really need to try that Tiger sauce one time

i need to learn more , what is tiger sauce and where do you get it ? i have a master built 30 and just purchased amazen dust smoker . thanks richard new and trying .
Hey Good Brother, tiger sauce is a spicy sauce. I bought a case of it online from Walmart. I don't think the picture of the ribs did it any real justice. I've smoked hundreds and hundreds of racks of ribs.  These racks were the best ever. Going forward, this will be the method that I'll always use.

Thank you all!

Can you post the extact amount of each item you used?  I'd like to try this, as my ribs while enjoyed by others, are the bane of my smoking skills.  They never meet my expectations.  So I'm very interested in trying what you've amended to your own needs.

Hey guys, many thanks for this info.  I'm still learning and having info like this makes my learning process much easier.
