Beet harvest

    Pulled my beets this morning. Ended up with four good size meals from the greens and ten meals of beets.

    Not sure what kind they were but they are nice and sweet. Defiantly got my $.99 worth out of that packet of seeds.

    Love those beets; I just froze a nice supply for this winter.  Do you have a favorite recipe or method for preparing the greens?

    I usually will boil them then put a little butter and sea salt on them. I also like to use them in chicken or pork florentine. You can use them as a substitute for spinach in any dish.

    Nope, they were grown in my garden.
