I marinated the chicken in basalmic vinegar salad dressing all day and then shoved the beer up the backside. Indirect heat on the grill for an hour and 10 minutes. I threw a handful of apple chips and hickory on the coals every 15 minutes.
that looks just about the same as mine did today in my ECB. it was my first attempt using the beer can or any other method for chicken, and the results were certainly worth it!
