Beer Can is back. QVIEW

    Well for me anyway. I used to make this all the time but somehow it got away from me.  My buddy was raving about beer can burgers so I tried those.  With some smoked mac and cheese. Good but it reminded me of something beer can since the burgers could use any can.  

    So then I had a flash back.  I havent cooked beer can chicken in years.

    Got two fresh three and half pounders from the local butcher. 300-350 for an hour and a half. 165 IT on breast and 180 on thigh.  Well I try.

    Simple rub olive oil, salt. pepper. onion powder. garlic powder. and Hungarian paprika. 

    Ready to carve.  Super moist great skin. Quick and easy for less than $10

    Very good looking Birds , and the Burgers and M\C got me to salivating too ! :drool:drool

    I enjoy a canned Chicken now and then , too ! all Brined with gobs of Garlic Onion and some Cumin ,

    Thanks for the reminder of an old standby and the look at some good looking Q :biggrin:

    Nice spread you have there. I still have to to try the beer can burgers

    Yeah I couldn't believe I had forgot about it.  Tastes so good I'm putting it back in the rotation. 
    Burgers were good.  More like a meat loaf which is good.  I think I might serve them over mashed potatoes next time
    That was my first time and definitely not the last time.  It was incredible.
