Due to the passing of my father, the holiday season, three snowstorms and an ice storm the smoker has been idle for weeks. Maybe months, I dunno. Seems like forever. Add to that working 60 hour weeks and I havent even been here at SMF or ckecked my e-mail in weeks. Wow when I checked in today it was like a whole new buncha people. Tons of newbies. This is great! Sorry I wasnt around to welcome ya'll.

Anyway, today we cook!!! Time to relax and unwind while tending the chargriller. Playin with fire just does that to some folks. Got three slabs of beef back ribs and other goodies to go with. Its gonna be good eats today!

I look forward to the new insights that the new members will bring. Thanx to all!

Sorry to hear about the loss of your father Smoke Freak.
It's good to see you back.

Welcome back, Smoke Freak. Sorry to hear about your loss of your father. I know how that can be, I lost my grandfather this august. So my simpathy goes to you and your family. Nothing like a good smoke to relax ones soul.
