Been away for a while

    I haven't been around for a while

    My FIL is up from FLA and we always make a brisket for him, so today seemed like a good day. Fired up the Egg with Royal Oak lump and some hickory.
    Rubbed down a 6 pound brisket flat with Simply Marvelous Cherry rub. While I was at it, I threw on a couple of 3 pound chuckies, also rubbed down with Cherry rub. Not sure what that will turn into, but I will come up with something. [​IMG]


    I pulled the plate setter and just threw on some potatos.
    Took these bad boys out of the fridge to warm up a little. I'll try not to screw them up.




    They will get some kosher salt and a little pepper then onto the heat. / message sig

    Hi Ellymae. I missed you and your Egg. Them are some nice lookin slabs of meat. Hope all has been well. Stop into chat some night we actually have people there most, well some of the time. Say hi to Big Al for me!
