I have not been on here in awhile, partly due to military schedule and partly due to my UDS being stolen out of the yard while I was gone. Well, I have had all the parts for another UDS except for the drum but when I saw Lowe's put these on sale for 269 plus my 10% discount I could not resist. Looking forward to sharing some awesome Q-view. Here is a little break in picture. Sorry about the lighter fluid I could not find my chimney. sorry guys it wont happen again..

Nice looking egg! Great price as well might be better on charcoal then the drum! Hopefully no one steals it! I had the insides of my WSM stolen out of the back of my truck.

I am doing a pork loin today for my first smoke. Ran a test run last night and temp got up to 325, then settled at 275. I think I had to many lite coals to start with though. Time to take it low and slow today!!

Congrats! Just got one of those myself!  Amazon had a sale for $240 shipped and I couldn't resist. How many lit coals did you start with on your first cook?  Doing ribs tomorrow and I've been pondering how many lit coals to start with...
