Me and the wife were at Cub Foods this morning and I found Beef Shoulder Filet for $1.49 per 27 oz. package.

Those and a pack of turkey tenderloin are in the smoker now, I'll let you know how they turn out.

The beef turned out excellent and was very tender, I brought some to work for lunch, I like heating up my smoked food in the microwave so everyone around me can smell the smoked meat, I went back to the store to buy the rest of them, they had about 20 more when we were there, but they were gone when I got there.

Allot of juice when they were done, it said they had a liquid added to them though.

That was a good score on the meat. Looked good, too! Don't know if I have seen that cut around here, though!

mmmmm, should not have checked the site right before lunch... Hungry now! Nice smoke and cut of meat.

I asked about the cut of meat when I went back to see if they had more, they said it was what they would normaly cut mock tender out of
