Beef Short Ribs

  1. Greetings.  Has anyone done cool stuff with beef short ribs?  Care to share?

    I'm lucky enough to have access to some of the world's best beef.  My family sells American Kobe beef.  We're looking for ways to market these things and present them at cooking events and fairs.  They're really tender, often I just put them on the grill.  They're great that way but I think there's more potential.

    Anyway, just looking for some cooking ideas if you're feeling social.  Thanks!

    Most guys use the 3-2-1 method, just like spares.

    Terry, mornin'.... If you need another tester I would be happy, more than happy... drooling happy to provide a test kitchen for your experiment... It would be an honor to test some of those ribs for you...

    Oh, by the way... Welcome to the forum... (I almost forgot my manners thinking about those ribs)....  Many great folks here and recipes abound for the imagination to peruse... enjoy the long smokey ride... Dave
  7. Thanks folks. I'll check into some of these.  We actually have a college working on some of these for a project too...Maybe if I make it big we can have some cook offs :)

    I always go to albertsons E...the meat is always good...either old hammond or Jones creek
  10. Like Al said... i do mine 3-2-1

    Never w/ Kobe though LOL, so in that case i would keep any rub/seasoning simple...
