Do I need to wrap beef ribs in foil for the last hours of smoking if I'm using a water pan below them?

I never use a water pan or wrap my beef ribs. But as you'll soon discover, there are a lot of different ways to make good Q! Good luck and have fun with the ribs, David.

Good afternoon and welcome to the forum, from another warm and partly cloudy day here in East Texas. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

Thanks Dave! They r looking good but I may wrap them for an hour or 2 with some beer broth

A lot depends on the smoker temp, and how lean the ribs are. If they look like they are drying out, you can spritz them and keep them moist or wrap them with a little liquid.
