Started with some beef back ribs I bought at the local store. Each package was @$6.50, so why not..

    Seasoned with Tatonka Dust.

Set up the WSM and used Stubbs briquettes with a few chunks of Pecan. First time using the Stubbs too.

Ran @225* for the first two hours, then bumped it up to 260-270* for the finish. I did not wrap these bones, just rode this one out.
    Total time was @5hrs.

    Toothpick tender.

Served with some garlic mashed taters.

These were very good, I liked the Tatonka Dust on them.
    Thanks for looking.

Nice looking ribs and that's a great price. How did you like the Stubbs'? They've become my absolute favorite briquettes but they're kinda hard to come by around here.

The Stubbs burns cleaner than KB and with less ash. It's like burning wood actually, it smells nice.

I won't add any wood chunks to my next cook, just to experiment.

It's for the Pitmaster IQ120 controller.

Here is the link to webpage if you're interested in how it works and what it costs.

Great looking ribs Sam and nice seeing the Tatonka Dust in action! :drool

With briquettes I am a Stubbs only type of person, stocked up heavy a few years back and may be a few years till I have to refill.

Been researching temp controllers for our 22.5 WSM, large BGE and XL BGE. Was leaning towards a Guru DX2 but looking at the IQ120 I like that is seems just simpler. What are your thoughts on it since you own one? Also I see for the IQ120 I would need a standard pit adapter for a WSM and a large adapter for both BGE's, what I can't figure out is separate costs for additional adapters. The only price I see is the standard price for the IQ120 with choice of one adapter...

I like IQ120 a lot. Yea, you get one adapter for your pit with the purchase of the IQ120. I've done Andouille in mine and it kept a consistent low temp of 150* for 3 hours with a small ring of fire in the bottom. I was able to bump the temp up and finish them without adding charcoal. It works real well.

I guess if you called Customer Service they would let you know how to order additional adapters. I don't that answer either.

Gonna do some tommorow. Got some buffalo rub myself. Looks like granite there for a wall. Good job!
