Hey I smoke alot of pork spares but have got my hands on some beef ribs. Do these need to cook longer the the porkers?

Beef ribs expect to take anywhere from 4-6 hours on the smoker. The meat is done when you grab a rib it tears away easily (I wish I could be more specific but well there are to many variables to give an exact time).

Mine seem to take a little less time then porkers. I do not cook to temp I watch for pull back on the bones around 1/4" to 3/8". and the bend when you pick it up from one end should almost break. Good Luck.

LOVE BEEF RIBS

We've done them a LOT less time, just up to medium rare with the same seasonings as we do our prime rib. We call it our poor-man primes

.

It takes some gnawing, but they taste pretty good.

I was going to cook these along with some pork spares so I guess Ill just put them all on at the same time and they should all come out close to eachother.
