Smoked some beef ribs and a rump roast. 6.5 Lbs rump roast 4 Racks of ribs Even smoked some bones for my "helper". Roast injected w/ italian dressing & rubbed w/ Jeff's Rub In the vertical gas I save the water that I rinse my hand with after applying the rub for the water pan. Don't know if it adds anything, but better than just going down the drain. Smoked the roast @ 225 till it hit 150 then wrapped & rested. Smoked the ribs, dog's bones, and a rack of pork ribs rubbed w/ jeffs rub in the offset at 250 for 5 hours. Ribs getting cut up Nothing fancy - not ready to start messin with things, in fear of wrecking somethin. The roast and the pork ribs were smoked for my aunt to take to a cookout, so didn't get pix of those cut up. She came back with lots of complements, so I guess they came out good. Beef ribs were great and my "helper" was thrilled with his Q! Thinking of doing up some fatties tonight - post those if they get done. Thanx for looking and I'll be waiting on replies and suggestions.
