RECIPES FOR MENUDO

INGREDIENTS:
4 LBS OF BEEF (CAN BE LONDON BROIL, ROAST, SIRLOIN) CUT IN CUBES
3 ONION (CHOPPED)
5 CLOVES OF GARLIC (MINCED)
5 TOMATOES (DICED)
4 BAY LEAVES
2 CANS OF CHICK PEAS (PEEL THE SKIN)
POTATOES (CUT IN CUBES AND FRIED)
2 RED PEPPERS (DICED)
SALT PEPPER
¼ CUP SOY SAUCE
2  CANS OF BEER
3 Tbspn Corn starch mix with a little water

     Step by Step

SAUTE GARLIC, ONION UNTIL TRANSLUCENT
ADD THE BEEF, SALT & PEPPER 
WHEN THE MEAT IS BROWN ADD SOY SAUCE
ADD TOMATOES, COOK UNTIL YOU SEE ITS BOILING 
ADD 2 CANS  OF BEER
WHEN THE BEEF IS TENDER
ADD RED PEPPERS COOK FOR ANOTHER 2 MINUTES
ADD CORN STARCH MIXTURE
ADD THE CHICK PEAS AND COOK FOR ANOTHER 2 MINUTES
ADD THE FRIED POTATOES AND STIR

SAUTE GARLIC, ONION UNTIL TRANSLUCENT



ADD THE BEEF, SALT & PEPPER I USED LONDON BROIL


WHEN THE MEAT IS BROWN ADD BAY LEAVES


 ADD SOY SAUCE


ADD TOMATOES, COOK UNTIL YOU SEE ITS BOILING


ADD 2 CANS  OF BEER

WHEN THE BEEF IS TENDER
ADD RED PEPPERS COOK FOR ANOTHER 2 MINUTES


ADD CORN STARCH MIXTURE AT THIS TIME


ADD THE CHICK PEAS AND COOK FOR ANOTHER 2 MINUTES



ADD THE FRIED POTATOES AND STIR


ADD THE FRIED POTATOES AND STIR

LEFT OVERS FOR TONIGHT

Tasty meal for sure Richie! Just like what I had in Hawaii, minus the beef. Beef was too expensive and my neighbors always seemed to have an endless supply of goat and chicken

Thanks for the post. Cool thing about your recipe is, if you don't follow the directions and order of assembly...You will get a completely different dish. That is the magic of Layering Flavors in a particular order..JJ

JJ Thanks I put the first  pics  Garlic first then the onions. I would have added some Calf Liver, at the end if it was only my wife and I.
