Greetings from the Steel City..

Picked up a packer brisket from a local butcher shop for $3.99/lb..

Brought it home, rinsed, patted dry and trimmed it up, and it looked like this..

Put on the rub and wrapped it up for its rest in the bottom of the fridge for the night..

Will take more pics tomorrow during and after the cook..

Nice! How much that one weigh? Serving a lot of people or is it a pot luck kind of deal?

If you lived closer I'd show up at your church!:drool Great looking brisky!

If it looks as good on the inside as it does on the outside I don't know if I will be able to stand to look. Post those sliced pics!!!

14lbs, precooked weight?  I made a 16lb packer, after trimming and cooking, it barely fed 8 adults.  Granted, we were pigs.  Good luck, looking forward to the pics.

Sorry, guys.. I forgot to take pics after the slicing.. I will say this.. I cut it pencil thin, then sliced them in smaller pieces.. We had 150+ in Church on Sunday.. But it was gone in 10 minutes..
