Beef Bottom Round and Spatchcock Chicken Q-View

  1. BOGO sale at Kroger lands me an extra Bottom Round - heavy on the Montreal Steak Rub and covered in Bacon to baste. smoking over a pan of potatoes, onion, garlic, celery and carrots all tossed in xvoo and kosher salt.

  3. also decided to do a spatchcock chicken - easy and always delicious.

    cranking 250 in my Master Forge propane smoker with mesquite chunks.
     
  4. 5 hours at 250 to medium juicy goodness and fork tender potatoes.
     
  5. Also the best spatchcock chicken I've ever done. 6.5 lb bird coated in xvoo, kosher salt, and a mccormick chicken rub. So juicy.
