BBQ Surf n Turf

Discussion in 'Beef' started by fmcowboy, Sep 7, 2009.

  1. Well the brisket was a hit yesterday and well I wanted to use up the leftovers today. I reheated them by placing in a shallow pan, poured the left over au jus over the meat and foiled the pan tight and placed in a 300 degree oven for about 15-20 minutes, was perfect all over again!! Made kind of a BBQ surf n turf dinner as I paired it with some crab legs done in a poll of Old Bay Seasoning. Mmmmmmmmmm Was a hit with the family.

I also noticed that the small smoke ring I got was even more pronouced today. So that was cool especially since I did the brisket on the MES.

    thanks for looking

Nice Leftovers, although I can't imagine having leftover crab legs around here with my wife around...

That looks great. I have always wanted to make some crab legs at home, but never have taken the time. How long do you boil them in the pot with old bay?

  11. boil the frozen crablegs you get at the grocery store for 4-5 minutes n thats it
