yes i do agree more meat& ya prolly not trimming enough and cook-this last batch kinda turned my off on ribs-to rich for us.maybe I think of the babies I did before that turned out great.

I vote for BB. Course just ate some and they were great so I might be biased. Course I'm not going to turn down spares if they are offered.

I prefer the spares for the same reasons the others have said.

Since I've been using the 3-2-1 method for them a lot of the fat seems to cook out of them leaving them almost as lean as the baby backs.

I prefer bb's too. But they are $3.99lb here and spares are $1.99lb. More meat on spares. And like Rich said, trim them down to bb's and put the trimmings in Dutchs beans or chili.

should be a poll conducted on this topic

SPARES........more meat and costs less............just trim em up like St. Louis............youtube has a show how-to video

yes I did trim to st. louis style-pig candy and pork saved for gumbo -were on sale at store I always shop at by the #-they were pretty fatty& rich in taste-didn't come in a box or salution(sp).

Yes the spares have more meat. Yes the spares are cheaper. Yes i prefer BB ribs anyway :)
