Maui, Hi.
I've just recently began to keep track of the battery life of the AAA Alkaline Energizers in the transmitter and reciever of my ET-73. So far I've logged 48 hours on the batteries. I was just curious as to those who may have also done similar, how many hours can I expect out of a set of Energizer batteries?

No clue with that thermo but with one rechargeable battery on my wired thermo I can get about 5 months use out of it, and I never ever take the battery out so it always runs 24/7.

Lithium batteries are disposable (primary) batteries that have lithium metal or lithium compounds as an anode. They are by far the best .

I really don't know when the batties need changing I change them.

I accidently left both units on for 3 days straight and it still had a couple of 4 hour smokes on them -

I'm on my first set of batteries with 40+ hrs on them. I'll put in rechargeable when done as we're a rechargeable houseold and only use up the disposables that come with devices.
