Stopped at the local butcher today to pick up a couple ribeyes they had on sale to grill up for diner tonight. nothing special just some nice steaks for supper.
then I ran across these in the meat case and they were calling me!
So, tomorrows culinary delight will be dino's and some smoked beans, I did up the steaks with just sea salt, pepper and garlic.
the dino's I rubbed with Cavender's Greek, garlic, bueMonde and pepper
they are resting in the fridge overnight
stay tuned
tonights dinner

a deal I couldnt pass up

look pretty good

rubbed and ready for bed

the steaks were really good.
they had nice marble and were tender as can be
not really as thick as I like them but I didnt get
there early enough in the day to have then special cut
fresh off the Weber genesis. took about 3 minutes a side

plated with a nice baked potato

the beef ribs are going in the smoker about 11 or so today
stay tuned

Steaks look good - can't wait to see the ribs - just picked some up today for cooking later on...

Man oh Man those steaks look great and thats one nice dinner plate of food you have going on there to Uncle lar.

I put the ribs on at noon, 225* over apple wood
after the first hour I spritzed with apple juice and rum
about every hour.
I mixed up the beans and put them in about 3
bushes bourbon and brown sugar plus bacon, onion, garlic,
couple shots of brandy, and a can of pineapple tidbits.
I put them under the ribs to catch some of the drippings
pulled the ribs and beans off at 5:30.
both were delicious. ribs were tender and juicy
beans were great and I ate too much.
nice pull back on the ribs

tender and juicy, really love the apple wood flavor

thanks for watching

Great looking bones and beans!
