I am looking for a recipe for the kind of hot dogs you get in the ball park. I want to put them in hog casings for the jumbo size ones. I have tried several so far and they are OK but they are just not like the ones I remember as a kid while watching the games with my dad. Any help you all could give me would be great!

Welcome aboard.

Until someone comes in with a recipe for you, try the search tool at the top of the page.  That should keep you busy for a while.  LOL

Good luck and good smoking.

Someone should have that recipe for ya.

If you are looking for a recipe of hotdogs that can be bought in park then you must buy a cook book. In can understand your craving for hot dogs since it is never a secret that everybody loves hot dogs. This is the reason why we have now many hot dog makers and why those hot dog makers are doing everything to be on top of the "best hot dogs" list. The hot dog war is on for Kraft and Sara Lee and it is now being held inside of the courtroom. Here is the proof: Three-year hot dog debate ends up in court.

I have learned that Ball Park franks are done for Regions. So, it depends where your first in-counter with the beloved dogs was. They make thousands of different recipes for ball park dogs. Try doing a search for the suppliers for the Ball Park your thinking of, or  try looking for the recipe for your region . The same supplier can and does make different kinds, sizes and taste for several business in his or her own region, so it get down mostly to finding the recipe that suits you most..
