two bean and a few other guys have asked me for this recipe so here it is....

approximately per pound of chicken breasts or thighs

1 12 ounce can of coke

1 onion diced

2 cloves of garlic crushed

2 cups of your chicken (preferably smoked)

put chicken, coke, onion, and garlic in a bowl and cover to marinate in fridge over night

preheat your smoker and apply your rub

wrap each piece of chicken with about 2 pieces of chicken and secure with toothpicks

smoke for a about a hour or to 165 IT
 
Could I use Bacon instead of the two extra pieces of Chix

That's a good recipe from Myron's book that I have made it several times. Even cooking at 275º the bacon is still too soft for us to eat but close. The best effort was a batch that I pulled at 150º and finished on the gas grill on high to sear it up some.
 
Yeah I know its tough not to be able to show the guys that taught you what you know and got you started in your passion for grilling and smoking and show them new stuff that you see....I have a few I've lost in the past year also
