Going to be putting my first baby backs on the my MES 30 here pretty soon. This is my first smoke ever! I laid them on the rack just to see if they would fit and they don't both fit on the same rack. I have to lay them diagonally actually. Is it ok to lay one on one rack and one below on another rack?? Or do I cut them each in half and try to put them all on one rack? Any suggestions? Thanks!

No problem at all putting them on different racks.  Good luck!  Be sure to show and tell us how they turn out!

SUCCESS!! My first ever smoke and it turned out awesome! Officially addicted to smoking. Thanks to this website and to Bear for posting his step by step approach. Made it less nerve racking and the ribs turned out great. I will see if I can figure out how to post pictures.
