Auction treasures!

Ther was an auction I went to last night and I got me some new treasures!!

A 10  foot long all metal bench.

A 8" bench grinder

A 5" heavy barell vise...I have been wanting one of these babys!

And a Sheet metal roller!

All of these for $30 each!!  What a STEEL!  ( my little miss SOB says that line was cheesy!)

The roller even has grooves to roll 3 different size steel rod.

Perfect for making my own heavy grill grate for my fire pit!

This is what it did to this scrap sheet metal tube.

A perfect circle! It also came with a base but I think I am going to mount it to the bench and use the base to make my backyard charcoal grill/smoker. Yep thats right Mrs SOB another smoker!

Now I have to clean the garage to get these babys setup!

Looks like a great haul SOB - The vice is worth every penny - and you will find lots of uses for the other items as well - I use the bench grinder / polisher to clean up yard tools all the time

Nice score, SOB!  I hope Mrs. SOB doesn't kibash the new smoker before you serve your first meal.  I have a stealthy UDS project in the works that my wife is not yet aware of.  I think we both may be in trouble before this is over! 

  It's easier to ask forgiveness than permission -- especially when you ask after serving a great smoked meal!

Yeah I should call it quits for this year on the auctions....and craigs list!  Unless I can unload some other stuff.

I'm already hearing the toe tapping and the sighing.

  Besidea with all these new toys and the list of things I already have to do I'm not gonna be able to go back to work.    "Honey!!! I;m gonna have to quit my job!!!"
