Hello to all on this web site...It's great to be here...A real smokin MAN CAVE!!

My name is Chris, I live in a very small town called Etna, in the mountains of northern California..(about 60 miles from the Oregon border).

I have been brewing my own beer for the last 3 years now and think of myself as a brewmaster in my own way.....Now the next best thing to go with beer is smoked ribs.

I have had many BBQ's over the years but never a smoker. Our old gas grill is on it's last leg and it is time to replace. My wife and I decided to go with a charcoal Grill/smoker.After 3 weeks of surfing the web and going into stores and checking out all the models available around here, I came up with this. Char-griller Smoking Pro, with side fire box. We should get it by the 10th of this month..Walmart $168.00 free ship..

I am looking forward to putting it together and doing some modifacation's on it before I season the smoker.

you all have a great day....brew dude

Welcome Brew Dude. SMF is a great place with great people. I used to work in Sawyers Bar and Petersburgh back in the 80's and would occassionally visit the "rock Chapel" at Corrigans on the weekends. One you get your smoker going send us some Q-view.
