Hello all, I had 90mph winds thru here thrusday evening, now I have 4 apple trees and 2 pear trees down. I was wondering the best way to sell the apple wood for smoking. Would renting a chipper to make chips work? One foot chucks split to a certian size? I have a splitter.

Thanks, Bob

Posting your state and location might help.We can't help you if we don't know were you are.Smoker are not thieves just ask bear.

I didn't proof read my post, meant to say "chunks", anyway I live in SW Iowa 80 miles Southwest of Omaha-Council Bluffs.

According to Ebay sellers...8 pounds, $2.99, of  approx 3x3x3 chunks fits a $10.95 Flat Rate box.

Sounds awful cheap for the amount of work you would put in...JJ

Your right, a lot of work for 3 bucks, I'll cut it up for firewood, maybe try selling bundles. If that don't work I'll burn it in my wood stove.

Thanks, Bob

Wow if i was closer I would take a pickup load off your hands.  I will be in North Missouri (Cameron) the second week of sept though.  Hmmmmm
