Has anyone here done this and how did it turn out. I usually like to hang mine but right now all I have to use is my pellet grill or little cookshack can't hang in either one. Thinking about laying them on the racks in the pellet grill as it is long enough. and cooking at 200 or so maybe use the one of Todds tube smokers for a bit of extra smoke.

thanks

I can't answer directly, but I have done jerky on a Cookshack pellet grill using hickory pellets. It was sliced pretty thin and took 2.5 hours at 170°. Friends that have tried it picked up on the hickory right away so I think it puts out a nice, mild smoke flavor.
When I get to the point of doing link sausage I plan to smoke it in my Cookshack FEC100.
