Hi all,

In Austin, Texas by way of Colorado and Michigan...

Just trying my third time using pellet smoker. Over cooked a couple whole chickens. Made a pretty good Salmon fillet and today will be doing a pork roast.

This looks like a great forum for getting advice, recipes and other helpful hints. Look forward to learning from you all.

Have some serious questions and want to read about pellets, availability, quality, etc. I don't need tons of pellets, but have noticed that buying bags will be somewhat costly. Share what you can...will post as I can.

Got to go check the cooker...

Welcome to the board! Use the Search to look up anything you want to know about. Lots of pellet users here who can advise you - I'm burning sticks.

Good afternoon and welcome to the forum, from another hot and humid day here in East Texas. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

Welcome from SC. Sorry, I don't know anything about pellet poopers, but there are a lot of folks here that do. you shouldn't have any trouble getting tips. However, I do know something about geography and I can definitely show you a better way to get from Colorado to Texas without going through Michigan.

Good luck and keep smokin' Joe
