Just stumbled across this site....VERY nice! Wish I found it earlier as there seems to be immense amounts of information here that could have saved me lots of heartache (and heartburn.)

I have been smoking meats and cheeses for about 5 years now. I started off with a Traeger 075 that I got one heck of a deal on, but that is another story for another time. I was looking for something a little fancier so now I am the proud owner of an FEC100 and I could not be happier.

For the holiday weekend I smoked two pork butts, 6 racks of baby backs and two pork butts...all turned out really well.

I have flapped my jowls too much, time to go read the forums and check this site out a little more.

Welcome to SMF. Ya can find out about just about anything here. If ya can't find an answer..... just ask. Seems someone always has an answer.

After a real quick pass through the forums I might be a minority here.....as I am a pellet cooker. Y'all friendly with us pellet types?

Glad to have you here. Dont forget to give QVIEW, or you will never hear the end of it. As for the pellet burner, if it smokes its good.
