Hi guys/gals. Mine name is Bob. I live by the Poconos. I like smoked meats and picked up a 30" Masterbuilt Digital Smoker as a Christmas present to myself and 1 for my son-in-law as well. He said it was the nicest present he ever got. What a great compliment. I haven't really used my smoker much but have a half turkey and 9 chicken thighs in it right now for dinner guests coming in 4 hours. I'm into motorcycles as well as Personal Vaporizers since I quit smoking cigarettes 7 months ago. I do have a problem with the Masterbuilt smoker in regards to the digital temperature. I have a Maverick dual remote temp sensor that I use and see the setting on the smoker is about 20 degrees higher than it reads. I figure this to be a lawyer induced legal thing so Masterbuilt isn't sued for people getting sick from undercooked meat. I may be wrong but I wonder if anyone else has experience with this and how far off theirs is. Maybe there's a thread someone can help me to so I can read up on this as I don't think it's just mine with this problem. I'd like to thank everyone in advance for the tips and tricks I'll learn here and hopefully I'll be able to help others in the future.
