Hi All - new member here in the Lehigh Valley, PA just outside of Easton.  I've experimented with smoking various meats on gas grills and a Weber kettle grill over the years and then bought a Masterbuilt 30" digital smoker (with the glass insert in the door) at an end of season close-out last year.

I finally got to use the new smoker on Monday July 4th and smoked up baby back ribs.  The result was great - everyone loved the ribs!  I was also pleased that the clean-up of the smoker wasn't too bad at all.  Now I'm looking for more smoking ideas and recipes and it looks like I have found my place!  Hopefully I can also add useful information as I learn more in the future.

Thanks Al!  I'm working my way through three year's worth of comments in Bearcarver's "Boston Butt Pulled Pork (Step by Step)" thread and have a few basic questions I'll post up there when I get through all the comments if my questions aren't answered.  It's taking quite a while but I'm a firm believer in not posting to a thread until you have read ALL comments already in there!  And Bearcarver's whole "step-by-step index" looks incredible.  But I've already learned a ton just reading through the comments on that one pulled pork thread!
