Hi ya'll from central Texas.  Been barbecuing for some time and little serious smoking.  Santa's helper brought me a MES 40" model 20072612. 

After reading about all of the models I'm not sure if this is considered a 2nd generation or not, nor do I know all of the good and bads of this smoker but I'm going to give it a good work out.

Thanks for the invite into a new world of cooking.
