Another new SMF member

Just found the site this morning while looking for a recipe for pepper bacon- what a great site! I've been smoking for a few years, still working to improve my craft. Much like new member SmokySooner I use a Weber 22.5" for both grilling and smoking. I just cold smoked my first bacon slab, it turned out great and now the missus is demanding more. She also wants me to take some local BBQ classes that cost $300 and more- I think I just might find all that I need here at SMF and put that class money towards buying more meat!

First off Welcome Tom to SMF. You'll like it here for there are alot of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking. Now there are alot of proven recipes for some amazing things here too. So the next big thing for you to do is go out and get you something to smoke and if you happen to have any questions just post it here and we will be happy to answer them for you.
