Another new one !!

Howdy all !!

I am an old dog just trying to get to retirement. Still have 8 years to go. Too much work..Not enough play.....

Consider myself to be not even a novice BBQ'r. But Lord knows, I try when I can. I have a New Branfels Longhorn Deluxe. Probably the best thing I have smoked so far is a 20lb turkey. They guy barely fit, but cooked up great. I do have my difficulties and a complete lack of recipes. Tried dry rub on a brisket and ribs over the weekend. Came out fairly good, but left it in the smooker a bit too long.

Other than my real job, my biggest hobby is photography. So, if I make it to some competitions, you'll all need to smile. I'll be taking pics.
