Another new guy...

Hello All,

My name is Jason. I live in Little Rock, AR. I like to cheer for the Razorbacks as well as smoke them.  I have a wife and 2 year old daughter. Started smoking when my daughter was born so that it kept me home more instead of being off on the lake fishing or in the woods huinting as much. I started out on a Chargriller Pro, but last weekend ordered an OK Joe. Should arrive today. I am decent at smoking chicken and pig butt, but want to get good at brisket. I am also interested in getting started in ham curing and sausage making.

I have been receiving help from the forums for a while, but now I am looking for more personalized help so I decided to jump on the bandwagon.

First off welcome to SMF there Jason. You'll really like this place for there are a bunch of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat. Then if you have any questions you just post them here or yu can try in chat for a faster answer. If you are really new to all of this I would recommend that you look up and take the e-course. It is free and it will also give you the basics on smoking. So with all that said now go and get something to smoke.
