I have a package of 8oz hog casings, Home pack Brand good for traditional sausage such as Italian, polish, bratwurst and chorizo. It does not say what the length of the casings are or how many lbs of sausage can be stuffed.

Anyone know what the break down say per foot of casings, to the amount of meat I will need?

The 8 oz bags of 32-35mm hog casings I get will stuff about 20-25 lbs of meat. Hope that helps.

So far, I like the Dewied brand casings best of any I have tried.

They also sell casings by the Hank, which they estimate will stuff somewhere around 120 lbs. of sausage. The number is just an approximation and will never be exact. But, it does give you a good idea before you start
