This is the 10th Annual Memorial Weekend Pig Roast.

I was not there to help get it started, but I did the honors of cutting it up as usual.

They pulled it a little early for my liking, but i wasn't in Charge lol. A little pink at the joints, but other than that another good hog in the books

Thanks adiochiro3. I like to take it to at least 180. I have been doing the whole hog thing now since I was in my 20's with my dad and we have it pretty well dialed,.My dad built the BBQ for my friend and he just doesn't the time and care to get a perfect hog. But everyone one was happy. sometimes you just have to let things go.

Wow - that's a big pig!  What a great tradition to have. I've only gotten to eat pit (it was in the ground) whole pig once, and I'll never forget how good it was!  We were dressed same as you guys at our Sunday picnic, but at least it didn't rain.

Looks Great !!

Poor little piggy seems to have gotten into a Heck of a bind this time!

I'd name him Stanley---As In-----"This is a fine mess you've gotten us into now, Stanley!"

Yeah---What's with the Jackets in CA, in May?  We hit 96˚ here yesterday, in the shade!
