Angus Burgers Weaved in Bacon

    I'm doin some Angus burgers and wrapped them in bacon. I also mixed in 1 egg, and a teaspoon and a half of KC rub and bread crumbs.  After I molded them, I wrapped them in bacon. Then I sprinkled more rub on top. Not too much though as you can see.

    I knew I should have ate before i got on here ! gotta try this .I've made meatballs wrapped in bacon and they never last . I like the idea of making a burger this way and maybe cheese in it? great idea !! now I got go to the freezer!

    Very nice there Ray. I like the bacon idea. Now Dave you should know that you don't come in here hungry. Now I think the only thing that could take this burger right over the top it would be if it was stuffed with some blue and gruyene cheeses in the middle. I think my heart just twiddered at the thought of all that goodness. Ican't wait for the finishing pics.

    Too thick? Really? I don't think so. I want a burger I literally have to SHOVE in my mouth! A big ole fat chunk of beef patty, special sauce, onions, pickles on a yummy bun. I think I might need to go lay down for a minute. I am so digging the weave burger. Don't ever stop making them Ray, promise me!

    those burgers look really tasty    i love the idea and might make a few for our july fourth get together

    and i never heard her say too thick is a bad thing!

    I did some burges tonight too, and was thinking I should have put some bacon on them while I was eating one.  lol  Those are some good looking burgers.

    Too thick?......that's like saying let's boil the ribs......unheard of.  Got some parties to host, definitely adding this to the menu.  No such thing as an ordinary hamburger is getting past this gang.

    Ok Ok already! I get it!  It's just that I couldn't get my mouth big enough and I didn't even have lettuce and tomato on it. ROFL. 

    NO PUN INTENDED!

    The next time I'm goin to go with MBALLI3011's idea: stuffed with some blue and gruyene cheeses in the middle.

    PS: Hey Squirrel, I was a pro photog for many years. I really enjoyed it but I was away from my kids way too much so I quit it.
