Hello, all!

I live in Altoona, PA but travel for work very often.  I work as a professional actor and perform in regional theatres across the country. I recently purchased a nice sized wood smoker (I'll post some pics in a day or two) and so far I've made some pork ribs but will be moving on to something a bit more ambitious for Christmas and New Year's Eve (trust me, I'll be looking for some help, please!!!).  This is an awesome site and I love seeing that I have some fellow smoke fans living so close!  And for a newbie, I really love how overwhelmingly helpful everybody is.

First off welcome to SMF tere Steve. You'll really like this place for there are a bunch of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat. Then if you have any questions you just post them here or yu can try in chat for a faster answer. If you are really new to all of this I would recommend that you look up and take the e-course. It is free and it will also give you the basics on smoking. So with all that said now go and get something to smoke.
