AMNPS Elevator Shed

When using my amnps in my MES I usually have to use a extra rack to elevate it off bottom of smoker and then place foil on the next rack to prevent juices from falling onto pellets. I was thinking of making a device that I could make to elevate it and cover the top without using racks. I'm thinking about a mini multi shelf device that the amnps would fit into. Before I do has anyone else already built one or have any ideas?

Also any ideas on easier way to clean racks?

I was thinking of something similar but going above the rack about 4-6 inches to build a roof as well

I only use mine when cold smoking so it does not see the inside of a product chamber/ food box. If you are using yours to hot smoke, which is fine, consider four two inch bolts and four four inch bolts with a piece of sheet metal for a roof. 

Keep it simple.

Drill a hole in each corner large enough to accept the bolt, then place a flat washer, nut and tighten.

Yup!   Very easy mod.
