Amazn smoke question

I hope this isn't a rediculus question,but can the Amazn smoke basket be used with a charcoal smoker such as the Brinkman smoke n pit? I would like to try the various wood flavors they have but wasn't sure if it would be feasible to use with charcoal.

Yes. There are a lot of us that use the AMNS for hot smokes. Just keep the AMNS as far away from the heat source as you can so it does not combust start running rows and jumping rails on you

Hey Frank,

The simple answer is "Yes", but like Gary said, you have to keep it away from the heat.

Also, charcoal eats up a lot of oxygen, so make sure you have good intake air.

Thanks guys, appreciate it. My Brinkman has the side fire box so I'll keep the smoke on the far end.
