Amazen Smoke Tube

I have a masterbuilt electric smoker. I have only had it for a week.Are you supposed to use wet or dry chips in it. I also just purchased a smoke tube and i have a couple of questions. I was wondering instead of having to keep checking the wood chip tray to see if i need to add more chips can you just use the tube for smoke and the heating element for heat?

 There is no good reason to soak your wood chips. It just delays the smoking until the chips dry.

Yes just use your AMNTS. No you don't need to soak chips when you use them.

Make sure that you keep the tube away from the heating element. Also protect it from the food drippings. You may want to research the mailbox mod.
