My Name is Dan and I live in a small town outside of Madison, WI. I have been cooking for about 18 years. I love to grill and made the jump into smoking foods 8 months ago. At that time I found the SMF and have checked back from time to time to get tips and ideas. Seem like there are a lot of smart and kind people here.
I am smoking on a propane smoke hollow (wish I had bought an electric with a thermostat). I succesfully smoked a brisket, spare ribs, and baby backs for the Super Bowl and have tried my hand at homemade venison snack sticks (yum).
All my grilling takes place on my charcoal weber. No propane needed there.
