All nite Q-View Pork Butts

    It is 9:30 In Chicago and I just got home from work. As you can see in the pictures I have done my prep work and I am heading outside 20 degrees 2 degrees wind chill with flurries to set up the GOSM. I hope to post a picture every hour or 2 so everyone please check up on me to see how I am doing. I have a case of beer a couple of stoogies and one of my neighbors will be joining me for a while. I have six 8 pound pork butts ready to go. Lets smoke!

    Fellows, I don't want to sound like a party poop, but I'm doing two as I type an plan on pulling them off in an hr. or so to wrap and finish in the oven. Got work to do tomorrow and can't stay up for an alnighter. Good luck with your cooks and by the way its 9 degrees here in N.W. Mo. and windy. Hope spring brings this to a halt. Only two weeks til spring.

    Hickory is the wood of choice tonight. Desert thanks for the update on the temp and time, I am putting my shorts on as we speak. NOT!

    12:45 and we have moved inside. The thin blue smoke is kicking a%# outside. You can see the snow on the remote and the table.

    You have a sign that says "foul balls". that is funny.
    i have a butt and a corned beef in the fridge ready to go on at 6am. it is expected to be 35deg in the morning....burrr....but it will warm up to 70 so I feel you pain...

    all looks good!! (except for the miller)

    you never mentioned what you are going to do w/ 48lbs of butt?!?!?
